Jenis ikan hasil tangkapan nelayan di kawasan pesisir Pantai Tabanio, Kalimantan Selatan
Abstract
The geographical condition of South Borneo was dominated by wetland. The potential wetland in Tabanio coastal areas is abundant, one of potential coastal area is the fish species. Most of the local peoples work as fishermen. The existence of fish to balance the sustainability of coastal ecosystem and become a source of livelihood for fishermen. The objective of the research is to identify the fish spesies of caught fishermen in Tabanio coastal areas. There is no data before about the fish species in Tabanio coastal areas. The samples collected were all caught by fishermen using cast net in zones with a maximum depth of 5 meters. The result of identification found 15 species of coastal fish. The fish spesies is Syanptura albomaculata, Sardinella fimbriata, Caranx tille, Takifugu oblongus, Lutjanus coeruleolineatus, Scomberomorus commerson, Lycengraulis grossidens, Megalaspis cordyla, Eleutheronema tetradactylum, Dussumieria acuta, Hexanematichtys sagor, Plotosus canius, Trichiurus lepturus, Mugil sp., Panna sp.
