Psidoedukasi keliling (Psikoling) “Sadar PAUD” untuk meningkatkan kesadaran PAUD bagi masyarakat di Pinggiran Sungai Martapura

Abstract

Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) or Education of Early Childhood cannot be separated from the role of parents or family. However, the success of a child will not be achieved if it is not supported by good education. Therefore, it is proper for parents to prepare education for their children as early as possible. However, in reality, there are still many parents who have not realized the importance of education for their children, especially PAUD. Education in Children, basically is not only the responsibility of parents, but the government also has a big contribution in the development of education. Based on the data, it is known that the distribution of PAUD units and the number of students has not been evenly distributed in each District. Martapura Timur is one of the sub-districts in the Banjar Regency area and there are still 4 villages that do not have PAUD. This shows that in Martapura Timur District requires an intervention so that early childhood children get an education. Based on the preliminary study, it is known that the unavailability of PAUD in some of these villages is due to the access of the area on the river bank so that it is difficult to reach and the parents' lack of knowledge on early childhood education. Therefore, an intervention is needed to increase community participation to send their children to PAUD. Psikoedukasi Keliling (Psikoling) "Sadar PAUD" is one program that can be done to increase family participation through providing an understanding of the importance of child development and PAUD. The method used is Psychoeducation and the target community is the community in the village of Dalam Pagar, Pekauman Village, Keramat Village, Sungai Kitano Village and Pekauaman Dalam Village
