Abstract

The Community Partnership Program (PKM) activities involve housewives in Pemakuan Village, where the village is one of the Sagu Kampung centers in Banjar District, South Kalimantan. Sago flour production every day in the village reaches 2 to 5 tons. So far, the use of sago is only sold in the form of sago flour and raw material for sago porridge. Innovation and diversification of sago-based products can be developed into one of the creative industries that have a good market share in the community. The problems experienced by the partner groups are a) the increasing awareness of consumers towards healthy food, so consumers are interested in low-sugar and high-fiber food products, but the partner group does not yet have the skills in processing these products, b) the low ability of human resources involved in the field management, c) the low ability of partner groups in marketing and utilizing information technology. The solution in this program is a) training in innovation and diversification of sago-based food products, b) increasing the ability of human resources in the field of management, c) training in the use of information technology as a marketing tool. The end result of this program is the increasing knowledge of mothers in making sago pastries and digital technology in marketing products. So that the target group can be independent in carrying out sago diversification business activities in a sustainable manner.
