Abstract

This paper concerns on explanation of oral literature which can be a reflection of society’s life where the literature is. This discussion concerns on the aspect that is a part of cultural product, it can be an orientation for the society who has local wisdom and can be an identity for a group of them, and also it can strengthen the society’s solidarity. The culture and society are two components which are inseparable since both of these components are complementary. They are closely related, there is no culture without society, and vice versa. Besides, those are an indicator of local wisdom of oral literature which are as a reflection of local wisdom becoming a pioneer of product of national culture which need to be observed and maintained their integrity.
