Pengelolaan lahan untuk mendukung pertanian organik berkelanjutan di daerah pasang surut Kalimantan Selatan: Kajian logam berat Pb dalam tanah
Abstract
Tidal swamp land is one of rice production centers in South Kalimantan. Therefore, the quality of the land should be kept free from pollution. This research was conducted in order to study the harmful concentration of a heavy metal of Pb. It conducted in four villages of Barito Kuala Regency (South Kalimantan). Nested design experiment was used with two factors: 1) tidal land types (A, B, C and D), 2) soil depth (0-20 and 20-40 cm), and three replicates. The results showed that Pb concentration did not differ significantly between 0-20 cm and 20-40 cm soil depth in all types of land (type A: 13.34 ppm and 14.62 ppm, type B: 15.18 ppm and 14.45 ppm, type C: 15.15 ppm and 11.55 ppm, and type D: 14.59 ppm and 14.37 ppm). All numbers were less than critical point for healthy soil environment.
