Migrasi burung air dan daerah persinggahannya bagi pengembangan ekowisata
Abstract
Migratory waterbirds, also known as migratory waders, are a group of aquatic birds that migrate from their native land in the northern hemisphere to the southern hemisphere. In the course of their migration they stop at several places including in Pantura Indramayu Cirebon and in the swamps of Muning River. The birds will return to breed in the northern hemisphere after getting enough food. This unique trip is done regularly every year, covering up to 20,000 km. This long migration trip is very draining energy, in addition to many threats that interfere with the safety of the journey, both natural and human. The changing environmental conditions of the earth greatly threaten the preservation of migratory birds.
