Analisis kualitas komposisi vegetasi ruang hijau pribadi berdasarkan kebutuhan masyarakat

Abstract


The supporting area of vegetation biodiversity is decreasing along with expanding of residential area. As a result, the efficiency of residential land use needs to increase its function to maintain and transform the residential area into the supporting one for vegetation biodiversity. So, it is necessary to analyze the composition and quality of the existing vegetation in the residential to see the meeting point of the community's need for vegetation with the ecological function of the residential vegetation it self. The composition and quality of vegetation is analyzed by measuring and estimating the physical condition of vegetation in a private green space. This study was carried out in two types of residential area, as old and new housing. The level of community needs is seen from the community's preference for the condition and type of vegetation in a private green space. The results of the analysis show that the quality of the composition of vegetation in the new residential area is quite ideal and for the old residential area is ideal. In addition, the level of community needs synergizes with the level of ecological quality of the residential environment which can be seen from the balanced type of vegetation composition planted in private green spaces both trees, shrubs and understory
