Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of public policy to ensure legal certainty on local investment. The type of research used is normative juridical which focused on examining the application of rules or norms in positive law, sourced from library research using legal materials. The results of the study conclude that an adequate legal and economic system is needed to attract foreign capital into Indonesia. The main policy regarding the law of investment in Indonesia is intended to attract the amount of foreign capital in the hope that this effort will result in a national economic revival.
