Daerah tempat tinggal dan usia kawin pertama perempuan di Kalimantan Selatan (Analisis data survei demografi dan kesehatan Indonesia tahun 2012)
Abstract
This paper is analyze the area of residence and first age marriage in South Kalimantan. The researcher is using analysis and secondary methods, from the data of Indonesian Demographic and Health Survey (SDKI in Indonesia) in 2012. The population in this research is 1.015 women in average 15-49 years old which has been married, and then in statistical test of Chi Square with SPSS program. The finding of this research that in rural area the minimum first age marriage is 9 years old and the maximum is 35 years old, order of the top three top percentages of first age marriage is 17 years old, 19 years old and 16 years old. In urban area the minimum and maximum of first age marriage is 10 and 43 years old, with the top of three top percentage of first age marriage is 18, 17 and 19 years old. From the result of Chi Square found that first age marriage, education, and main job have meaningful differences with the area of residence. Woman in rural area of South Kalimantan, the majority of their first age marriage is under 18 years old, they were graduated from elementery school and work in agriculture. Women in urban area of South Kalimantan, the majority of their first age marriage is 21 years old and above, they were graduated from junior high school and work in non agriculture
