Pengaruh jarak tetesan dan waktu pemberian air terhadap produksi bakal buah apel manalagi (Malus sylvestris)
Abstract
Agricultural Quarantine Agency to exterminate the imported apple from the United States that is as much as 36.3 tons because of listeriosis, a disease that arises from consuming apples exposed to bacteria (Kompas,2015). The types of apples that are harmful include Galla, Fuji, Red Delicious which positively contains Listeria Monocygenes bacteria. The existence of this, so that Indonesia should be wary of imported food products. The production of Batu City's apple changed over time, during the period 1999 to 2010 the productivity of apples ranged from 10.9 kg/tree (in 2002) to 58.6 kg/tree (in 2009). Efficiency and effectiveness of irrigation use that leads to environmentally friendly agriculture is needed in increasing the production of quality apples. Efforts that can be done for the above purposes is the application of drip irrigation system innovation to increase the production of apple’s fruit. The research method used for the analysis is by Randomized Block Design Factorial where A shows the distance emitter and T is the watering time, consisting of 3 levels i.e. A1 = distance 20 cm from apple tree manalagi, A2 = distance 40 cm from apple tree manalagi and A3 = 60 cm distance from apple tree manalagi. Factor II is the time of administration of water (T) consisting of 4 levels i.e. T1 = 1 week, T2 = 2 weeks, T3 = 3 weeks and T4 = 4 weeks. The result of application in the field is as follows the droplet distance gives a significant difference in each treatment. This is shown in the treatment of A1T1, A2T1 and A3T1 which gives different notation to the BNT analysis performed. The farther the droplet is, the water coming out of the droplet spreads. The effect of droplet spacing and watering time on fruit will be the highest yield on A3T1 of 1012.66 will be fruit and lowest in control treatment.
