Keanekaragaman serangga diurnal dan potensinya sebagai hama di persawahan Desa Anjir Serapat Barat, Kecamatan Kapuas Timur, Kabupaten Kapuas
Abstract
This study aims to determine the diversity of diurnal insects and their potential as pests in the Rice Fields of Anjir Serapat Barat Village, Kapuas Timur District, Kapuas Regency. The method used is descriptive method of roaming techniques. Observation and sampling using a net (Butterfly net) carried out in rice fields with an area of 1 hectare, sampling time from 7am-6pm WITA. The diurnal insects are identified through observation using the key to determination and literature review. Data is analysed for diversity using the Shannon Winner formula. The results of the study found 14 types of insects included in 11 families and 5 orders. The Hemiptera order found 1 type, Leptocorisa acuta. There are 6 types of Coleoptera: Sitophilus oryzae, Ophionea nigrofasciata, Coccinella repanda, Cycloneda sanguine, Agelestica alni, Andrallus spimiden. There are 3 types of Odonata order: Ischnura pumilio, Orthetrum sabina, Pantala flavescens. The Lepidoptera order is only one type, namely 3 types of Nympula depunctalis and Orthoptera orders, namely: Conoceptalus aigialus, Oxyla hyla, and Locusta migratoria. Diversity index (Hꞌ) = 1.76 Diurnal insect diversity in the study area is classified as moderate. The highest abundant diurnal insect is Ischnura pumilio with an important value (NP) of 60.92%. The lowest one is Sitophilus oryzae or muzzle beetle and Andrallus spinidens or brown ladybugs, with the same important value (NP) of 1.22%. There are 7 diurnal insect species that are the potential as pests: Leptocorisa acuta or Walang sangit, Sitophilus oryzae or Beetle muzzle, Agelestica alni or Leaf Beetle, Cycloneda sanguinea or red Koksi Beetle, Nympula depunctalis or white pests, Oxyla hyla or green grasshoppers, and Locusta migratoria Grasshopper.
