Kepraktisan buku ilmiah populer tentang penyu untuk siswa SMA kawasan pesisir
Abstract
Learning resources need to be integrated with students 'environmental education, so that students are easier and faster in learning because they are close to students' daily lives. Learning resources in the form of popular scientific books (BIP) that are conceptualized by raising the potential of the student's environment become one of the solutions in overcoming the learning process. Besides that it creates awareness, positive attitude, problem solving about the environment. This development research aims to test the practicality of a popular scientific book prototype entitled "Penyu Penyangga Kehidupan Pulau Sembilan Kotabaru". The development design used is Tessmer. Data testing was carried out on students of class XB of SMAN 1 Pulau Sembilan with a total of five students. Data collection uses an instrument of implementation of the learning implementation plan (RPP) and student response. Practical data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive. Based on the observation, result of the implementation of the learning plan (RPP) is an average score score of 3.4 with a good category. Whereas in the response of students get a value of 88.5% which shows students give a positive response to popular scientific books (BIP).
