Abstract

This paper analyses how wetlands as local wisdom can be used as teaching material in learning Indonesian at universities. This paper aims to examine and discover the relevance of wetland insights with Indonesian language teaching materials oriented towards wetlands. The authors use content analysis. The results of the analysis show that several materials become more local-oriented when they are oriented to wetlands. Wetland-oriented material can be a means for students to better understand the local potential of the region while at the same time instilling awareness in making use of it so that it is better and maximised.
