Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze influencing faktors the level of social acceptance of farmer groups in community forests in Pelaihari District, Tanah Taut District. Data analysis used Social Acceptance Index (IPS) formula (Social Acceptability or SAI). The object of the research was Business Work Farmers Group in Karang Taruna Village, Harapan Bersama Farmers Group in Ambungan Village and Kariya Jaya Farmers Group in Ambungan Village in Pelaihari District, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan The level of social acceptance of farmer groups to the existence of community forestry programs in Pelaihari District Marine Land is classified as a high classification with a farmer group social acceptance index value of 80.20% where the calculation results are obtained from the scores of each element of the farmer group's social acceptance index such as attitudes, participation and value, so that the community has a high level of social acceptance of community forestry programs. The influencing factors are education and type of work.
