Pengendalian hayati penyakit diplodia pada jeruk siam banjar di Kabupaten Barito Kuala
Abstract
‘Siam Banjar’ citrus is one of the important agricultural product of Barito Kuala, but there are a lot of constrains to cultivate it. One of the problem is diplodia disease that caused by Botryodiplodia theobromae Pat. This pathogen can attack roots, stems, twigs of citrus plants, and cause the plant death. Currently the controls that are carried out and considered effective controls are using synthetic pesticides, but in reality the controls are still less effective and not eco-friendly. Therefore, this research was done by using several techniques of biological control to find out the alternative control of diplodia disease problems. The study was conducted from January to July 2017 in Karang Indah Village, Terantang Sub-district, at Barito Kuala District, with RAK-one factor, seven treatments, five repetitions, and each repetitions consists of four trees, so there are 140 experimental units (trees). The applied treatment were healthy citrus plantation management (t1), liquid Trichoderma (t2), Trichokompos (t3), liquid Trichoderma + trichokompos (t4), FMA + yeast (t5), FMA (t6), and yeast (t7). The observation of the lesion reduction of diplodia disease indicated that all treatments were able to reduce the lesion of diplodia disease by the average lesion reduction between 0,65 - 2,47 cm2.
