Abstract

The Freedom to learn (MBKM) curriculum in the Science education study program FKIP Universitas Lambung Mangkurat requires that students after graduation have competence as teachers and entrepreneurs. Project-based learning (PjBL) as a learner-centered learning model uses projects as learning media. This learning model does not only focus on the result-, but emphasizes the process of solving problems and will eventually produce a product. This research is a literature study by conducting keyword searches, subject searches, scientific articles, and citations in scientific sources regarding learning designs to produce learning activities that facilitate students so that they gain competency as entrepreneurs through PjBL-based microbiology courses. The results of the study show the PjBL model can be carried out by adjusting the stages of the learning model to the topic of lecture material and can be a solution for improving learning.
