Pengolahan biobriket dari limbah kulit kolang kaling sebagai sumber energi alternatif terbarukan
Abstract
Astambul is one of the kolang-kaling processing centers in South Kalimantan. Processing of palm fruit into kolang-kaling produces waste in the form of palm shells that had just been left piled up or burned. Kolang-kaling processing waste has the potential for great biobriquette and processed into a source of renewable alternative energy for the community around the wetlands of South Kalimantan. The purpose of this service activity is to be able to improve the science and technology of rural communities in Astambul in processing kolang-kaling skin waste into bio-briquettes as an alternative renewable energy source. The community service method that is carried out namely: preparation, counseling and training. PKM activities got a positive response from the service partners. The Partners have been able to cultivate kolang-kaling skin waste into biobriquettes. This biobriquettes has been used by the community as an alternative renewable energy source. This biobriquette processing is very likely to be developed as a home industry and increase the income of rural people.
