Spesies udang di kawasan pesisir Pantai Tabanio, Kabupaten Tanah Laut
Abstract
South Kalimantan has a geographical condition that is dominated by wetlands. The potential of wetlands in the form of coastal areas of Tabanio is abundant, one of which is the potential for diversity of shrimp species. Some people in Tabanio rely on environmental resources in coastal areas, including shrimp as a side dish. Local people working are fishermen. The existence of shrimp become a balancer of the sustainability of coastal ecosystems and become a source of livelihood for fishermen. The purpose of this research is to identify the types of shrimp catches in the coastal area of Tabanio. There is no data on the shrimp species of the coastal area of Tabanio. The samples were collected from three 50 m transects placed towards the sea. Five shrimp species were found. There were Litopenaeus vanname, Parapenaeopsis sculptilis, Harpiosquilla raphideae, Harpiosquilla sp. Penaeus monodon Fab.
