Manusia sungai (Analisis wacana kritis Lagu Banjar karya Anang Ardiansyah)
Abstract
Local traditional folk songs which composed by Anang Ardiansyah are interested to be discussed, especially with some of the following reasons: (1) The songs are extremely famous in Kalimantan, even in East Kalimantan, West Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan. One of the songs, entitled Paris Barantai has become a nationally recognized as a folk song from South Kalimantan; (2) The songs had been composed and written by Anang Ardiansyah since decades and everlasting up to now; and more importantly (3) there is a concern that the songs are only sung by the people, but its deepest meanings are neglected. Thus, this article is intended to study six folk songs composed by Anang Ardiansyah in regards with rivers’ culture such as Uma Abah, Palita, Sanja Kuning, Pancarikinan, Kapal Gandengan Taksi, and Jukung Rumbis. Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) by Fairlough were used to analyze those songs. The study showed that: (1) The actors who are appeared on the songs lyrics such as “Ku* (I), “Galuh” (she for Banjarese girl), “Abang Ruslan” (a name of Banjarese man named Ruslan) are associated with rivers’ activities; (2) These actors have connection and relation with parents (supporting actors) “Uma Abah” (mother and father in Banjarese); (3) Religious values were become the basic element in composing those songs.
