Pengaruh model reading, questioning, and answering (RQA) terhadap proses pembelajaran siswa Kelas XI IPA SMA PGRI 6 Banjarmasin pada konsep sistem Koordinasi Manusia

Abstract


The efforts to improve the quality of education must be done by running all the components. The quality of education is determined in the classroom through the teaching and learning process. But in fact the condition of the class when the teaching and learning activity is taking place the students are less active in participating the process. The learning process uses more lecture and question-and-answer method, so that the response and the involvement of the students in discovery of learning concepts is not optimal. As the result the biology learning outcomes have not been satisfactory. The purpose of this study is to find out the effect of the RQA model on the learning process. This type of research is a quasi-experimental research with a design model known as nonequivalent post test control group design. The samples in this study are PGRI 6 Banjarmasin high school students class XI IPA 1 as an experimental class and XI IPA 2 as a control class with the subjects is human coordination systems. The independent variable in this study is the RQA model while the dependent variable is the learning process. The data is collected through the instruments to measure the implementation of learning using the RQA model. The instrument is in the form of observation sheets of teacher and student activities which is assessed by the observer. The results showed that there is an influence of the RQA model on the learning process on the concept of coordination systems. It can be seen from the activities of teachers and students in the learning process that is increasing in good direction in every meeting.
