TEKNOLOGI PENGENDALIAN HAMA LALAT PENGOROK DAUN LEAFMINER (Liriomyza huidobrensis) DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN BIJI BINTARO (Cerbera odollam Gaertn.) PADA TANAMAN LABU MADU

Abstract

Butternut squash is included in fruit vegetables from the cucurbitae family which has a high economical value and has a lot of carbohydrate content rich in fiber such as vitamins A, C, E and minerals good for the health of the body. But the growth is hampered due to the attack of a leaf Pengorok fly Pest (L. huidobrensis) or commonly called leafminer. One of the alternative ways to control this leaf Pengorok pest using Bintaro seed extract. This research aims to determine the influence of vegetable seeds Bintaro can suppress the intensity of the attack fly Pest Leafminer (L. huidobrensis), and to find out the concentration of vegetable seeds Bintaro best pesticide to press The intensity of pests attack flies leafminer leaves on the honey pumpkin plants. This research was conducted in laboratory of Agroekoteknologi production, basic chemistry laboratory of agricultural industry and experimental Land of Agroinnovation Park, BPTP Banjarbaru South Kalimantan from April – July 2019. This research uses a group random design (RAK) one factor consisting of 5 treatments and 5 repeats. Results of this study showed that the effect of vegetable pesticide is very noticeable to the intensity of the pest attack fly Pengorok leaf when the age of 4 MST in honey pumpkin plants while the best concentration to suppress the intensity of leaf damage At B₄ treatment at the age of 4 MST plants is 28.28%.
