ANALISIS SPESI LOGAM (Ca, Fe DAN Mg) DAN KARAKTERISASI ARTEFAK PERAHU KAYU (3008 ± 16 TAHUN BP)
Abstract
Islands of Southeast Asia including Indonesia, according to the hypothesis of "Eden in the East" has a root of civilization in the form of basic skills in agricultures (bananas, taro and bulbs), seafaring (boat), domestication (pigs, chickens, cows and swamp buffaloes) and art. Therefore, this area has to offer as the origin of early human civilization besides Mesopotamia-Persia (another writer called Atlantis). Here, we report the analysis of 14C dating, functional groups by FTIR and diffusion phenomenon Ca, Fe and Mg by AAS on artifacts boats (jukung in Banjar language) were found in the swamp. The results showed that not significant changes in functional groups during 3008 ± 16 years BP (old boat). Diffusion phenomenon for Ca, Fe, and Mg (in the variation of 0, 50 and 3008 years) is 51.39, 1458.69 and 1966.18 (ppm), 518.98, 392.96 and 818, 28 (ppm) , and 48.8; 138.67, and 169.26 (ppm), respectively. We suggest that the phenomenon of Ca and Mg are increased on a regular and the potential for the development of relative dating methods.
