Ekstraksi zirkon (ZrO2) dari pasir zirkon katingan sebagai prekursor sintesis oksida pirovskit SrZrO3
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to extraction of local sirkon sand originating from Katingan district of Central Kalimantan for use as precursor of SrZrO3 pirovskite oxide synthesis using coprecipitation synthesis method. Zircon extraction was done using base method NaOH obtained 93,001% from 88,00% sample source. zircon sand extract and Sr (OH) 2 Stockiometric were reacted using coprecipitation synthesis method of variation of pH 10, pH 11 and pH 12 with 7 mL PEG volume. High purity synthesis results at pH 11 and high crystallinity at pH 10 with FWHM value of 0.1693. The result of rietveld analysis showed that the perovskite metal oxide structure SrZrO3 has monochlined geometry with cell parameter a = 5,46234 Å; b = 11,14568 Å; and c = 5,09930 Å; a = g = 90o and b = 94,578° group space I12 / c1. Calculation of crystal size using Debye Schrerrer equation obtained the smallest crystal size at pH 11 of 30,79 nm.
