Abstract

Research on the characteristics of the growing environment and the yield of water mimosa at 9 different locations in the swamp of Kabupaten Banjar has been conducted from February to April 2017. The results of analysis of soil chemical properties at different locations indicate that the water mimosa grow on soils that have CEC (4.18 - 4.84), moderate N content (0.18 to 0.35 me / 100 g), low to very high P content (12.79 - 112.87 me / 100 g) the content of K is very high (10.32 -10.66 me / 100 g), and the total Fe is low to very high (54.04 - 392.08 ppm). The water conditions of the water mimosa growth have a neutral pH (6.49 - 8.06), water level (37.60 - 204.07 cm), freshwater salinity, NH3 content is toxic to fish (0.84 - 5.73 mg / L), NO3 content in safe limits , PO4 content is safe to exceed safe limits (0.01 - 0.27 mg / L), as well as turbidity at an unaffordable level. The total fresh weight of the highest marketable water mimosa for 6 harvests of 856.31 g was produced by locations with the highest NH3 content, the lowest NO3 content, and the most cloudy compared to other sites.
